My door is stuck open. Can I close it myself until you arrive?
If the springs are intact, yes: pull the red release cord to disconnect the opener, then lower the door by hand — it should feel manageable. If you heard a bang, or the door feels extremely heavy, stop. A spring has likely broken and the door can drop hard enough to injure you or damage the car.
My car is trapped inside. What are my options?
The red release cord disconnects the opener so the door can be moved by hand. If the springs are fine, that gets the car out. If a spring is broken, do not force it — call us and we will get the door up safely.
Is there an extra charge for nights, weekends or holidays?
The visit and inspection are free at any hour. Parts and labour on the repair itself are quoted to you on site before work begins, so there are no surprises added after the fact.
What if you cannot fix it tonight?
If a part has to be ordered, we secure the door closed and locked so the property is not left open, and we come back with the part. You are not left with an open garage overnight.
